This hotel is ideally located on headlands, with the beach on the one side facing westwards and offering late afternoon sun and wonderful sunsets and the bay on the other side looking east, catching the ever-present Trade Wind breezes and the morning sunrises. The tourist centre of Nelson's Dockyard can be reached in approximately 17 km, and it is some 20 km to Saint John's. The casual and informal hotel places an emphasis on relaxation and personal service. Guests here are not simply numbers: staff at the hotel strive to learn their names, their favourite drinks, and their individual habits. On offer are a total of 25 rooms spread across two floors in addition to gardens and a terrace. Further facilities include a lobby area, a 24-hour check in service, a safe, a bar, a restaurant, and a games room. All the rooms are merely a few steps from the east-facing bay. They are spacious and comfortably furnished in an island style with grass rugs and cane furniture, and all come with one king-size or two single beds, an Internet connection, an en suite bathroom with large shower heads, huge towels, and soap. The large private balconies offer views over the lagoon and come equipped with very comfortable chairs in an Adirondack style. Furthermore, all accommodation units are media, stress, and hassle-free. The hotel does not offer telephones, air conditioning, or televisions. There is a swimming pool in the hotel grounds. A wide range of activities are also offered, including tennis (charges apply), sailing, windsurfing, snorkelling, fishing, diving (November to May), kayaking on the sea, and water skiing. All non-motorised sports are free of charge. The bay is protected by a barrier reef, guaranteeing safety and fun in all water sports. In addition, guests may experience a unique day with an excursion to one of the nearby islands or take a water taxi to the famous Harmony Hall for a fabulous lunch. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out ready for use on the beach.
